Mach 1 Hot Sauce was born out of a quest for flavor and an enduring love for heat. Founders Cassidy and Jillian Nolan started their journey in their kitchen in beautiful Napa, CA.
Cassidy, a proud United States Marine Corps veteran, had served two combat deployments to Afghanistan. During his service, he experienced more than his fair share of bland MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) — a common thread amongst military members.
The couple often debated their favorite MREs, but one thing was always clear: the hot sauce was a necessity, a saving grace in a world of routine meals. However, Cassidy noticed the provided hot sauce bottles lacked more than just heat—they lacked flavor. And he thought he could do better.
Recipe
Mach 1 Hot Sauce Butter
- ¼ Cup Room temp Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Mach 1 Hot Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Chives
- A pinch of Salt
Whip all ingredients together with Standup Mixer until well combined, put in a container and chill for 4 hours in the fringe. Use on top of steaks, crostini’s, popcorn and potatoes!
